Aluminum Trim-Cap or F-trim Profiles Channel Letters

Aluminum trim cap channel letters keep the familiar bordered face of a traditional trim-cap letter, but replace the plastic edging with formed aluminum. The metal trim secures the acrylic face, holds its shape well, and gives the letter a cleaner architectural finish. It is a practical upgrade when the visible border is part of the design.

Color options: The aluminum trim can be painted to match the letter returns or finished in a contrasting color when the border should remain visible.

We stock black, white, and red aluminum trim, with other custom colors available upon request to perfectly match your customer branding requirements.

Unlike plastic trim cap, aluminum trim does not become brittle from UV exposure and temperature cycles. It is specified when the project needs a visible metal border with stable long-term dimensions.

Another solution for aluminum trim cap channel letters: use F-trim profiles. The disadvantage is that you have to use 1/8" polycarbonate instead of acrylic, and the profiles are more expensive. See our full F-trim vs. aluminum trim comparison for when each one makes sense, or our aluminum trim vs. plastic trim cap breakdown if you're weighing aluminum against the traditional plastic option.
