Add Signs to Your Services Without Building a Fabrication Shop

You don't need a fabrication shop to make good money on signage.

Plenty of print shops, agencies, and event companies already own the client relationship. Their clients ask, "Can you do our sign too?" and the answer is often, "Let me refer you." That's margin walking out the door.

A wholesale manufacturing partner changes that. This is how it works, and what you'd still be doing yourself.

You Keep the Client, the Design, and the Pricing

When you refer a sign job, your client starts a relationship with someone else, and their next sign request may go there too. When you sell the sign yourself, the client stays yours from the first conversation to the finished job.

Wholesale Sign Pro works with trade customers only, so your pricing stays your own. We can ship without our branding or pricing documents when you need a neutral delivery. Tell us how you want it presented when you ask for the quote, and we'll build it into the order. For how wholesale pricing works, see wholesale vs. retail signage: a cost comparison.

We Build to Your Spec, Factory-Direct

You send the artwork and the specifications, and we manufacture the sign to them. That covers channel letters and custom signs, including blade signs, pylon and monument signs, and indoor lobby signs.

Because we build the signs ourselves, the questions that come up during a job go straight to the people making them. If a logo has strokes too thin for LEDs, or a finish isn't right for outdoor exposure, you hear about it before production, not after. Our wholesale channel letter ordering checklist shows what to send, and vector artwork is the one thing production can't do without.

Finished Signs Ship Across the United States and Canada

We ship to the installation site, to a contractor, or to any address on the order. Large or fragile signs may ship crated or on pallets, and multi-location orders can be labeled by store number or installation sequence, so each location receives what it needs.

If the sign is illuminated, tell us where it's going when you ask for the quote. The right certification depends on the location, and it has to be planned from the start. Our guides to UL requirements in the United States and CSA requirements in Canada explain what to ask.

No Machines, Floor Space, or Fabrication Staff

Making signs in-house means equipment, space, trained people, and enough steady work to keep all of it busy. A print shop, agency, or event company usually has none of that, and doesn't need it to sell signs. With a wholesale partner, that cost and risk stay with the manufacturer.

If you're weighing the two routes, wholesale channel letters vs. in-house manufacturing goes through the numbers and the tradeoffs.

Do What You Already Do Well

Resellers win by doing what they already do well:

  • Understanding the client's brand
  • Managing the job from approval to delivery
  • Coordinating a local installer

Installation is part of that last step. If you have your own installer, we manufacture for them. If you don't, we can coordinate with a qualified local installer through our installer network, and we confirm availability for the specific address when the project is quoted. Permits, surveys, and site conditions still need attention, and our guide to sign installation challenges by wall surface covers what to check before a sign goes up. Our installation page has the details.

Who This Is For

We work with sign companies, installers, brokers, designers, architects, agencies, and other qualified professionals across the United States and Canada. If your clients already trust you with their brand, printing, events, or design, signage is a natural next service, and a wholesale partner lets you offer it without taking on a new business.

How to Start

Send the project details for review: vector artwork, dimensions or letter heights, quantity, illumination method, colors, mounting method, installation location, delivery address, and your deadline. Photographs of the building and any brand standards help us quote accurately. We'll work through the specification with you before anything goes into production.

Wholesale pricing is available to eligible sign companies and trade professionals. Request a quote and tell us what your client needs.

Selling Signs Through a Wholesale Partner FAQ

Do I need a fabrication shop to sell signs?

No. With a wholesale manufacturing partner you keep the client relationship, the design, and the pricing, and the partner builds to your specifications. You don't need machines, floor space, or fabrication staff.

Can the signs ship without Wholesale Sign Pro branding or pricing?

Yes. Blind or neutral shipping can be arranged without our branding or pricing documents. Tell us the presentation you need when you request the quotation so it can be built into the order.

Who handles installation?

You can use your own installer. We can also coordinate with a qualified local installer through our installer network, where availability is confirmed for the installation address when the project is quoted.

What do I need to send to get a quote?

Vector artwork, dimensions or letter heights, quantity, the illumination method, colors, the mounting method, where the sign is going, and your deadline. Site photographs and brand standards help a lot.
